We regulate all social landlords in Scotland. We protect the interests of tenants, as well as people who face homelessness or who have bought their house from a council or housing association.

The new, independent Scottish Housing Regulator

The Housing (Scotland) Act 2010 established a new Independent Scottish Housing Regulator in April 2011. The new Regulator has recently published its regulatory framework for social housing in Scotland. To find out more, visit the new Regulator's website.
